The area allocated for each poster is A0 in portrait format (841mm Wide x 1189mm Long). Posters may be made up of several sheets provided the total available area is not exceeded. Posters should be affixed to the poster boards supplied using velcro dots. Pins or other fixatives must not be used. |

No handouts (brochures, business cards, etc.,) to be left at or in the poster display area, unless a dispenser (or similar) is incorporated into the poster space and provided by the author. |
| PREPARATION |
Presentations should contain large sized, dot points, and be easy to read from a distance. Dark colors on a simple light background work best. A lot a text on a single page will distract the audience from what the speaker is saying. Graphics should be clear, load quickly and be viewable from a distance. Animations should be embedded in the file, and not access outside links. |
The poster provides an
opportunity to illustrate and highlight the key points of your
written paper. It is suggested that while preparing the material for
your poster you give careful consideration to the amount and detail
of the material to be included, and to its positioning on the
poster. Use of photos, and other images along with innovative use of
colour will enhance the appeal of your poster and encourage
Symposium delegates to read your paper. It is suggested that prior to finalising your poster, you check that: All text and graphics can be read from a distance of at least 1m
